Now… the thing is he’s playing that animation non-stop and when I move, it just stays in that sheet. My char is standing around and after a while he switches to that different sheet to play an animation where he fumbles with his sleeve. So I set up a common event and changed my actor image to a different one. The only problem I have is the idle animation that should play after being inactiv a certain amount of time because I have a ‘still idle’ in my original sheet and an animated idle that should play only once every so and so seconds of standing still Your plugin has been working nicely so far. If I can get this working I will become a patreon :D I am going on a limb and saying that if you change it from f*0.8 to say 1.6 you would need 16 horizontal frames? $Filename, !Filename, Filename, $!Filename, !$Filename.Īlso you mentioned you can have any many frames as you wish for horizontal frames? Does it just automatically pick up on X number of frames or do you need change that in the plugin manager? I was looking in it and under GALV_CharacterFrames there’s an option that’s named Frame Speed Modifier. I read above that if you changed it to !then the file name it changes the default you should keep it the same? I tried it with : No matter what size I changed it to it always shows two arrows instead of one. Is there any reason for it to do that? I changed the size from the default 5.33 to 7.33 then 9.33 all the way up to 22.33. I took your template with the arrows increased their size and now it shows 2 arrows instead of one. Sorry to ask this since I noticed you have a shit ton of questions but. Look at the Actors spritesheets, as well as the $BigMonster one and others beginning with $ - some of the large doors as well.Hello Galv :D I was looking for a plug in exactly like this and it seems like I finally found one. Ignore the sprite size - just look at the layout and how many characters are represented. Look at some of the default sprites to see what's going on. This file should not have $ at the start of the name. The other way is to have 3 columns x 4 rows for each character, but to group 8 characters together on a single spritesheet - 4 columns and 2 rows. This file needs to have $ at the start of the name, which is an indication to MV that it's a single character. You can have a single character on a spritesheet, and in this case it should be only large enough to hold the 3 columns x 4 rows. Your sprites can be formatted in two different ways. The one you attached to your post is sized correctly, but you need to put $ at the start of the filename. It doesn't look like there's enough room for 3 more characters going across. The one in your project is sized incorrectly - look at all the whitespace around it. The sprite you have posted is not the same as what's in your project.
